General workflow and schedules:

  1. Once pricing information pushes from LRO into Vaultware, you cannot manipulate or change the data inside Vaultware. For this reason, it’s very important that your availability information be correct in MRI and your pricing information be correct in LRO. Remember that LRO is only pushing pricing, availability information is still coming directly from MRI. If you have rented units for today, that change will not take effect immediately…
  2. Currently we run the following schedule with Vaultware, MRI, and LRO:
Between 1 am and 6 am (usually closer to 1): LRO updates pricing in VW
8 am: MRI updates VW availability
       9 am: VW updates ILSs
10 pm: MRI updates VW availability
       11 pm: VW updates ILSs
  3. This means a few things:
    • If you update your prices with LRO during a call, etc., we need to request a one-time push to Vaultware. BUT you still have to remember that Vaultware will not push this information out to ILSs until the regularly scheduled times. The one-time push will correct what you see in Vaultware and your homepage that uses the availability link from Vaultware, but not ILSs.
    • If you have a skip or a unit status change in MRI, that will not push into Vaultware until the next scheduled time.
    • Good news: Vaultware will not show data for which it does not have updated pricing from LRO, so if you have a skip and no price is yet assigned it will not display in Vaultware or on ILSs, etc.

MSC Property Responsibilities:

As with any automated system you need to monitor it occasionally to make sure the generated information is accurate.

To help us help you:

  1. If you observe that your prices are incorrect in Vaultware, we need more information:
    • What prices are incorrect (specific units)?
    • What prices are showing? What are the correct prices?
    • Are the units that are showing incorrectly units to which you have made changes in MRI or LRO today?
