08/18/2015: Email Server Re-configure
OnTuesday, August 18, 2015, we are going to reconfigure a few things on the server between 5:30pm and 7:00pm.
Some of this will require we reboot the email servers and will cause a slight disruption in service.
If you are in Outlook during this time you may notice a disconnection from the server. This is expected.
The impact to you is that sending and receiving email during this time may take an extra 10-15 minutes.

Please visit the Microsoft® website for more information. This should resolve any previous problems. Please follow the instructions for updating your machine. Thank you.
12/10/2014 - Microsoft Updates "breaks" MRI
On 12/10/2014 Microsoft released a Windows/IE update that adversely affected how Internet Explorer handles certain functions. Several of these functions are directly related to how MRI works and causes the following symptom:
- When making a selection from a picklist, either an error box pops up _or_ regardless of the selection made it populates with "undefined"
- The "Final Renewal Review" box does not appear.
There may be other symptoms, but these are the ones we are currently aware of.
The update is KB3008923.
Uninstalling this update corrects the problem.
Once the update is uninstalled, you must go back to Windows Updates and hide this particular update so it does not install itself again.
If you are experiencing this problem you can either remove the update yourself or contact MIS and we will help you remove it.

04/26/2014 - 0-Day Internet Explorer Exploit
There is a lot of news concerning a security exploit in Internet Explorer.
The exploit requires some action on the part of the user (like clicking an unknown link in an email or going to an unfamiliar website) for it to be dangerous.
This is a real issue, but it is safe to use Internet Explorer to access MRI and Corrigo..
It is safer to use a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox, for general internet traffic.
